How to Use MATTE BASE Matte Base Primer
  • Watch Video

  • Cleanse and Moisturize
    Start with clean, moisturized skin.
  • Apply Primer
    Dispense a small amount of the primer (one to two pumps is usually enough for the entire face).
  • Smooth and Press
    Use your fingertips to smooth the primer onto your face, focusing on areas prone to oiliness or where you want to minimize pores. Gently press the product into your skin, rather than rubbing it, to help it activate and set.
  • Allow to Set
    Give the primer a few seconds to activate and set before applying your foundation. You should feel the formula become tacky and then transform into a velvety finish.
  • Continue with Makeup
    Proceed with your foundation and other makeup as usual.
💡Pro Tip

A little bit of this primer goes a long way, so start with a small amount and build up if needed. Be mindful of how much product you layer, especially under the eyes, to prevent a cakey appearance. If you find a damp sponge doesn't work well with the primer, try using a small, fluffy brush to apply and blend.
