WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
VELVET FINISHING POWDER

The Velvet Finishing Powder provides a smooth, matte finish and controls shine for up to 16 hours. It can be applied under makeup to smooth texture and control oil production or on top of makeup to lock it in place and prevent caking or separation. Both powders minimize pores, blur fine lines and imperfections, control shine, lock makeup in place, hydrate the skin, and extend makeup wear.
The Velvet Finishing Powder is a multi-use, soft focus finishing powder that provides a smooth, matte finish:
1. Under Makeup: Apply it underneath your makeup to smooth texture and control oil production.
2. On Top of Makeup: Use it on top of your makeup to lock it in place and prevent caking or separation. It minimizes pores, blurs fine lines, and imperfections.

4. Skin Conditioning: Enriched with 6 power ingredients, it hydrates and conditions the skin, improving skin condition while extending makeup wear.

The The Velvet Brightening Powder is formulated to brighten and color correct the skin, especially under the eyes, using pink and violet pigments that neutralize dark circles and add a soft, radiant glow. It offers the same benefits as the Velvet Finishing Powder, with the added power of color correction to tackle sallow, tired-looking skin.
The Velvet Brightening Powder is versatile and can be used in several ways:
1. Under Eyes: It's perfect for setting your under-eye concealer, erasing darkness, and discoloration. The pink pigments counteract dark circles and brighten the skin tone, making your under-eye area look fresh and awake.
2. All Over Setting: Use it as an all-over setting powder to brighten your entire face. It minimizes pores, blurs fine lines, controls shine, and locks your makeup in place, preventing creasing, caking, or separating.
3. Contour Enhancement: Apply it along your contour lines to add definition and brightness, giving your face an extra pop of dimension.
4. Highlighting & Baking: Perfect for highlighting key areas of your face or for baking, ensuring a flawless, long-lasting finish with a brightening effect.
BRUSH CARE GUIDE
Natural hair brushes are an investment and should be treated in a similar way to your own hair. As they are the same as the hair on your head, they can also be prone to kinks, scratchiness and shedding if not cared for properly. Synthetic brushes, whilst easier to care for and hardier to rough treatment, will never be able to achieve the same result or level of performance as a natural brush. Our brushes are designed specifically for optimal performance, and make blending powders and creams easier than you could have ever imagined!
How do I wash my brushes?
Natural hair brushes are best washed in a mild liquid soap (we recommend pure castile soap or similar) and brush cleaning products containing alcohol or ethanol should never be used. Harsh cleansers and alcohols will dry the moisture from the natural bristles and can result in the brushes shedding and feeling scratchy.
Cleaning instructions:
* Holding brush with bristles pointing downwards, gentle wet the brush under warm running water.
* Dip the brush in a mild liquid soap and gently swirl the brush in the palm of your hand to foam up the soap
* Rinse the brush under running water again until all soap and residue is gone (you can also continue to swirl the brush in the palm of your hand under the running water to help remove all soap
* Using fingers, gentle squeeze excess water out of bristles and reshape bristles into desired shape
* Lay the brush down on a clean, dry towel and allow it to dry naturally
* Our favourite soap to use is the Dr. Bronners Pure Castile Soap - it it a very mild, conditioning soap and comes in lots of great scents!
PERFECTING PUFF/SPONGE CARE GUIDE
Our Perfecting Sponges and Puffs are essential tools for achieving a flawless makeup look. To ensure they perform at their best and remain hygienic, follow these care instructions:
Sponge and Puff Care Tips
Prepare for Use: Always ensure your sponge is soaked thoroughly and then squeeze out excess water before use.
Clean Regularly: Clean your sponge or puff after each use to maintain hygiene and performance. Detailed cleaning instructions are provided below.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use solid soaps or dish soaps, as these can damage your sponge or puff.
Proper Storage: Store your sponge or puff in a dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing it in sealed or semi-sealed containers to prevent mold and bacteria growth.
Replacement: Replace your Perfecting Sponge every 3 months for optimal performance, much like a toothbrush.
Cleaning instructions:
* Gently squeeze the sponge or puff under lukewarm running water until completely wet.
* Apply a mild liquid soap (such as Beauty Sponge Liquid Soap, Castile soap, or Baby Shampoo). Avoid solid soap and dish soap as they can damage the sponge or puff.
* Gently squeeze the sponge or puff to work in the soap, forming a thick lather and releasing any makeup residue.
* Place the sponge or puff under lukewarm running water again and gently squeeze to wash out all soap and makeup. Repeat steps 2 through 4 if the sponge or puff is heavily soiled until it is completely clean.
* Gently squeeze out all excess water from the sponge or puff.
* Store in a dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the sponge or puff is completely dry before storing it in any container.
By following these steps, you can keep your Perfecting Sponges and Puffs in top condition, ensuring a flawless application every time.

Each pair of Nikkia Joy Cosmetics eyelashes is lovingly handmade with care. We source the highest quality materials and hair fibers available to give you the most natural and realistic-looking lashes possible at an affordable price.
Please note that all our lashes are handmade, and therefore every lash is unique, with small natural variances. Product images are indicative of lash design, but there may be small differences between the lash you receive and the lash you see on screen. Each lash is individual – just like you are!
Lashes Care Tips
1. When you are ready to wear your lashes, gently remove the tray from the box. Do not discard the plastic tray lid as this will keep your lashes safe between uses.
2. Using your fingers or tweezers, gently remove the lashes from the tray. As our lashes have been delicately handmade to deliver the most natural look, it is important to be very gentle when removing them from the tray to avoid damage. We use a small amount of adhesive to attach the lash to the tray for safe transport and storage. This glue may be removed at your discretion.
3. To avoid damage and extend the life of your lashes, only apply lash adhesive to the band of the lash. Avoid getting any glue on the lash fibers, as later removal can be damaging to the lash.
4. Prior to removing your lashes, apply a small amount of makeup remover to a cotton pad and apply it to the lash band for 10 seconds. This will soften the lash adhesive, making it much easier to remove the lashes without damaging them. Remove your lashes gently with fingers.
5. To store your lashes between uses, clean off all old lash adhesive and place them back on their tray with the plastic tray cover in place. Keeping the lashes in their case will keep them safe and also retain their shape and band curvature for future uses.
